Physical Description: Franziska is 5'3" and has a slim build. She has blue-grey hair which is cut into a bob, blue eyes, and a beauty mark near her right eye. She dresses in a formal style befitting her place in the nobility, and this makes her seem older than her 19 years.

Personality: Franziska was raised as a perfectionist, and this is one of her strongest personality traits. This drive for perfection in all things lends an air of haughtiness to her demeanor. She tends to be impatient when it comes to things that she wants, and along with the impatience, she has a rather quick temper. She has neither the patience nor the time for anyone she deems a fool, and there aren't many people that she doesn't. Fran has a tendency to see the world in black and white, with very little room for shades of grey. She also holds grudges easily and for a long time; if you get on the wrong side of her, you're likely to stay there permanently.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaponry: Franziska is intelligent - considered a genius, even - and a quick learner. She has also mastered the use of a whip, which never leaves her side.

Weaknesses: Fran's weaknesses are her quick temper, her impatience, and her tendency to whip someone first and ask questions about it later. She also has something of a weak spot for people she's very close to, but it's very difficult for her to open up to others.

Franziska is the younger daughter of the von Karma family. Her father held the council's seat for the Noble House of von Karma until he was found guilty of murdering the head of an up-and-coming house and subsequently executed. Her older sister forfeited her right to the empty seat, instead choosing to marry into a commoner's family - she wanted no part in the political system after her father's downfall. Franziska found this action incredibly shameful, and has since cut off all contact with her sister. She has an adopted "younger brother" who she had grown quite close to as a child, but they have lost touch with each other. She regrets this loss of contact and would very much like to speak with him, though she isn't likely to divulge this fact to anyone.

Fran's high intelligence was evident from her early childhood, and as such, she entered the Academy early. Her father pushed her to excel - anything other than perfection would be inadequate. In part due to the pressure placed on her, and in part due to her own intelligence and drive, she remained at the top of her class through her years in the Academy. During what little free time she had, she was trained in the use of a whip, which remains coiled at her side, at the ready. She completed a degree at St. Faustus at the age of eighteen, and took a year to travel and study before returning to Aegis to claim her place on the council.
